In May of 2002 my wife advised me that things we not working out and I should leave. We then filed for a Divorce. I moved in with my grandmother to save money for an apartment for me and my 14 year old son (who stayed with his mother until I could find a place). I found an apartment in September on 2001 and my son and I moved in.

From May 2001-September 2001 I gave my ex-wife $500 a month on my own with no court orders involved. From 9/01-12/01 I supported my son without any help from anyone. In January of 2002 my girlfriend (I met in September) moved in and helped me support my son, still with no help from his mother.

From 1/02-11/02 I had seen nothing from my son's mother money wise or her spending any time with her son. She would drop her son off from a previous relattionship to visit his brother and would call to talk to her other son when it was time for him to be picked up to go home. She never came to see my son or call him.

In April of 2002 the day our Divorce was final she got remarried to my bestfriend and didn't even tell her children. In 11/02 I threatened her with child support and she said she would sue for custody if I pushed the matter any further. She agree to pay $40 a month for medical insurance through her work and $80 a month for bus fare for school. That I have to fight her for very sunday night.

It is now 2/03 and my ex-wife and her new husband just put $12,000 cash down on a 2003 Dodge Hemi 4 door truck and my son has yet to see anything from her except the occasional fastfood she picks up for him after her and her new husband go out for dinner. When I asked her about the truck she said her husband sold nascar collectables on ebay and thats how they got the money.

Now that I have confronted her with childsupport again she is saying she cleared her credit and financed the truck. She is also mad that my son knows the truth of the situation and she is denying the matter of the $12,000 when he asks about it.

My girlfrind and I are struggling to keep our heads above water and this woman feels no guilty as far as her sons financial welbeing is concerned.
