Jenny Jones Assistant Personnel Manager) Contacted me to Order over $200.00 in Avon Products for her company in Los Angeles, California

I received an email from a Jenny Jones for a contact me request from my Avon business. I contacted this person via Avon's website and sent out an email for a one time free shipping on her first purchase, thinking it was someone in my neighborhood I got back a reply via my email thanking me for getting back to her and what she wanted was several bottles of fragrance, some make up and a little face cream.  Totaling up to about $250.00. 

Her description of our products was exactly what I would expect from someone who knew what they wanted.  I did wonder if it was for really since she told me they would need this for a model job coming up in our area.  Well that didn't quite sit well with me so I sent another email to find out when the job here was to be.She replied with a date. Of course the phrasing and spelling wasn't perfect, put up a red flag or two, but still we do have people around who are in the modeling business so I put her name into my database and put her order in and put it on hold until I could be sure.

The next day proved me to be right when I got not one but two other contact me requests via my email.  When checking them to customers and sending out the same free shipping notice I received almost the very same requests with the very same order just in different quantities, totally up to about $250.00.  That is when I knew for sure this was a very huge scam and started looking for others who might have come in contact with this person who was sending out these false emails for us to order products.

Please beware of anyone who wants the following items from Avon.

These are the items requested in all the emails scams I got this week from different people using different companies that were doing a modeling job in my state. All that was really different were the quantities of each item, what they wanted was exactly the same.
