Beware of Jeremy Liggett of Myrtle Beach Sc,  Also owner of Best Builders and Precision Pools. He also does work in North Carolina and Iowa.   He now works with Consensus Builders. 

Let me start by saying this. I am a father first, then a business owner.

Now lets get into the meat and potato's of this suit. Yes I said suit, as I am currently suing him in small claims court although I know he will never pay. This is a report that I had to put out there to protect others like myself and my clients, To warn of his methods and tactics.

Jeremy Liggett, owned and operated the aforementioned companies prior to coming to work for me. When coming to my company, many numbers were agreed upon including his wages, and hours. As well as some long term options that were to be discussed if he stayed with my company for more than a year.   In the long run Jeremy defaulted on his original agreement.

Now the "Rip Off" or theft that occurred is simple, Jeremy Liggett received monies prior to me going on vacation for two weeks. I gave Jeremy Liggett the money because I did not want his family to do with out while I was away and unable to him weekly. He had a baby due in less the 3 weeks and I tried to help him out. Basically he was pre paid to do a list of job and didn't do them.  

Not only did he not do his job, He was using the resource of my company to set himself up a new job. When I returned home I was out over $1400.00 in cash, $1000.00 in tools and materials from a job site. And my customer's personal property was damaged thus costing another $1000.00 to replace. All because he failed to do the job he was paid for. Since I have 1099'ed Jeremy Liggett this makes him a Sub Contractor. A sub contractor that stole from me and damaged my companies reputation. He has lost my company numerous accounts totaling thousands of dollars.  The damages to date total roughly $7900.00.

Be careful of this man as he will suck you in with sob stories of how unfair things are, He will use the "Karma and Religious" conversations to help you lower your defenses and win you over. He will use the topic of recovering from alcoholism and being a work-a-holic and a new father to gain your confidence. Since he left my company,  I have recently come across a quite a few people who have done business with this man and have come to the same conclusion .  

Jeremy Liggett feels he can continue to rip people off, mislead and misrepresent himself, with out being held responsible. or accountable.

So as you looking to hire him as an employee or a sub contractor for remodel work or a swimming pool, beware this man is out there praying on customers and small business men alike.  

FYI, be aware I do expect this person to respond to this file in a highly inflammatory manner as it is outing him for the business man he is. He will make highly dishonest accusation  regarding my company and family. However. Any persons looking to learn more about this topic, I will be post information regarding our civil case as we move forward. As we have ample evidence and witness statements to corroborate this event.
