I met Jerron Yarbrough through a friend. I paid him for 5 music videos to be recorded and edited by him.
I originally agreed to pay for the videos after he completed them one by one.
Because JY was unstable, he did not have a car or place to consistently call home. I allowed him to use one of my locations to sleep, eat, work, and do laundry (all of this for free). I even physically upgraded the memory on his slow Mac computer(Again, for free) so that he could work more efficiently. While he was staying at my location, he never finished my music videos
Jerron is very financially unstable and asked me to pay him upfront for a music video because he was low on money and had to pay "lawyer" fees. In exchange for me paying him upfront, he agreed to do an extra music video for me. This was a huge mistake that I agreed to.
I was eventually able to record all of the footage with Jerron but he only sent me a partial amount of the work we agreed upon.
I made the agreement with Jerron Yarbrough in September and all of the work was supposed to be done by November in order for me to release my entire music project by the end pf November. When the deadline for my project came about, he began to make excuses for why he had not finished the work. He made many excuses but these were among the top.
1. I have had a lot of schoolwork to do
2. I just got kicked out of my house.
3. I am in between living locations.
4. I have stressful family/personal affairs
5. It is a lot of work for one person
I setup and confirmed a video shooting session with Jerron for one Saturday morning and spent hundreds of dollars preparing for it. When the day came, he became unresponsive and never showed up to the video shoot. He contacted me late that night(9pm or so) and said he didn't know what time we were shooting it even though he is the one that proposed and confirmed a morning video shoot less than 24 hours before that.
I absorbed that financial loss and shot the video another day. He promised me that he would get all of the work(All 6 videos) done by the following week and when the time approached he did not have it finished and he did not reach out to me to inform me that he did not finish them. Instead, I waited several days after his proposed date and inquired about the videos. He presented me with the same excuses and then made a similar promise to have them done the following week.
The following week came and, again, he did not have the videos for me. I waited an entire week after that and contacted him after not hearing anything. He began to ignore my calls, texts, and emails. All the while he was very active on social media promoting himself and his services. He was releasing his personal work and interacting publicly with others instead of finishing and sending me the music videos I paid him thousands of dollars for. He did not even have the decency to let me know he needed more time.
Fast forward to March after countless text messages, phone calls, voicemails, and emails, he still has not sent me my videos. He had the audacity to say that I was harassing him for asking him to send me the videos that he had fallen short of time and time again. I did what any sensible and very generous person would do. I allowed him several days after he missed a deadline before asking why he had not sent me the footage.
I never threatened or offended Jerron. I was only patient and understanding; He took full advantage of this fact. I paid him for work that I now have to sue him for.
After doing more research on Jerron Yarbrough, I figured out this is not the first time he has burned someone. He has a bad but fitting reputation when it comes to his services for photography and videography. He will take your money, preach a sob story, and run away.
After formally emailing Jerron Yarbrough about the projects he never sent me and informing him that I would be taking legal action if necessary, he responded maliciously and began trying to insult my character. I kept my composure and just insisted that he finished what we agreed upon so I did not have to move forward with litigation.
After some time, he claimed to have come to his senses and said he would send me the videos. A day or two later he sent me links to bogus downloads with bogus screenshots. I clicked on the links he sent and was presented with a "file not found" error message. I informed Jerron of this and he never responded or rectified the situation.
Because of Jerron, I have fallen short on many deadlines for my music project and have been setback thousands of dollars and several months. I will now have to hire an entirely new Videographer and redo what he was supposed to do.
I do not recommend that anyone ever work with Jerron Yarbrough. There are thousands of photographers and video directors in Chicago and around the country. PLEASE do not fall into the same issues I have had with this kid and just consider someone else for your services and needs. He has been the biggest thorn in my side and headache for 5 months. He goes by the name JY the Visionary and should not be trusted. I am reporting him to every company reviewing organization possible so that no one else is burned like I have been.

If you still decide to use him as a service after reading this, please do so very warningly. Do not pay him upfront and get an explicit contract stating everything that is to be done and by what time it is to be done. If you use PayPal, do not let him convince you to send money via "friends and family" to avoid PayPal costs. Instead pay him through "goods and services" so you may file a dispute against him if and when he fails to provide your services.
Mr. Yarbrough can be described with these words: Unprofessional, unreliable, a liar, deceitful, deceiving, a thief, crooked, deceptive, fraudulent, unscrupulous, shady, sneaky, misleading, a snake, unfair, unjust, moral lacking, a con artist,
To be clear. I paid JY for music videos and he never sent them to me or refunded me my money. They were supposed to be finished 5 months ago and he is completely ignoring me and all efforts to work this out outside of litigation.

We find it very unfortunate that Mr. Franklin Uzo Azie aka Frank Spiff feels the need to continue on with this overly emotional rant, falsely accusing us of theft and lying. As we stated before we have NEVER out of our 6 years of doing business with hundreds of happy clients, experienced such slander and false accusation. Mr. Franklin Azie has continuously lied on our brand and is simply upset because of his own personal issues with his music career not working out. We have extened our services beyond business to revive his brand, even going as far as cretiquing his brands name and giving advice as well as directing him to graphic and web designers. As our records show we can guarantee you that Mr. Azie has recieved his work.
We are truly unsure of Mrs. Franklin Azies problem but can only speculate and assume that it is a personal matter with himself and not our brand. We have proof of us sending Mr Franklin Azie aka Frank Spiff his visuals below and we did nothing different in doing so from how we sent any other files to him in the past. So in all this is not a issue of our company not sending him his work, what it sounds like is that he was either unhappy with the product or had come across a technical issue. Mr Franklin stated before and confirmed that he recieved the files but recieved an error message. Correct me if im wrong, but that doesnt sound like our company didnt send the files that Mr Azie claims we never sent, it simply sounds like he ran into technical issues. But instead of Mr. Franklin trying to contact the server, He instead blames our brand for his negligent action to follow the emails instructions or his system having malfunctions.
Mr Franklin threatens our brand with a lawsuit but fails to realize that he is wasting his time. We would have gladly assisted Mr Azie in recovering his work or even giving a partial refund, but Mr Franklin NEVER requested a refund and never gave our company anytime to get back to him. With our high volume of emails Mr Franklin could have simply given us a call seeing as how he maintained a friendship with our brands owner with access to our direct and business numbers. As we stated before, we would like to reiterate that Mr. Frank Spiff admitted that he had completed all work with us and recieved it, then later stated he had never received any of the work. To show that we do not do shady business we have also attatched the message where we offered Mr. Azie a contract in which he refused to sign. Our contracts are very detailed in what services are being purchased and how long it would take to produce the work.
Mr Franklin Spiff Azie is scheduled to release his project sometime soon, If our company never sent Mr Franklin Azie files he will not be releasing videos that was directed and edited by our brand. That alone will be our proof that he has recieved his work.
Lastly we have to point out again that this is our ONLY bad review on the web and we can guarantee that our business is highly professional and of quality. We have never stole, lied or mistreated any of our clients. Again, We find it unfortunate that we aren't the first or only business that has experienced Mr. Franklin Azie aka Frank Spiff's reckless, unprofessional and overly emotional wrath. Just recently in the month of January 2016 another independent freelance graphic designer had his art stolen by Mr Franklin Uzo Azie without pay.

I have no reason to lie. JY has been the worst person I have ever come across. As i stated in my original post, JY claimed to have uploaded the files to me, but he never did. He rebuttled and included only the initial messages of our conversation. Please look at the attached screenshots of the rest of our email messages that he chose not to include(for obvious reasons because he is unscrouplous and shady).
I have attacehed screenshots of my numerous attempts to get the videos I paid JY for.
I also included a screenshot of our agreement and completed transaction thereof. It states that I paid for the entire package that we agreed on and that I have a balance of $0(nothing more owed to JY) and it states that I am supposed to receive a total of 6 videos. Jerron accepted the payment and terms of the agreement because that is literally what he propsed and agreed to do.
JY never sent me the rest of my work. Do not work with him. I hope his weak rebuttal and this response shows you how much of a liar he is and how he is employing shady unethical business practices. He stole my money and i am suing him for it. I will post that later once it is settled.

I find it to be very unfortunate that Mr. Franklin Uzo Azie aka Frank Spiff feels that he had a bad experience with our company. I am disappointed to see that he has gone to such extremes to make fraudulent statements about our business, it's opporation and its owners personal life. We have proof to back that our business is in fact very professional and always treat our clients with respect and decency. Our company always communicate with our clients under all circumstances and ALWAYS go above and beyond to deliver nothing less than efficient high quality productions. As we all read Mr. Azies complaint let's be mindful of the picture he try's to paint. He clearly states in so many words that he maintained a personal relationship with our company's owner but mixes his business relationship with their personal issues that may be in all the true purpose of his post. Mr. Franklin make several false statements making himself to seem superior in finance and lifestyle to our brand and its owner. As well as pointing out personal life situations to make our brand owner out to seem like the needy. If this is the case, then can someone explain why this is the ONLY bad review about our brand on the Internet??? A few loop holes we can point out in this story for sure is that Mr. Franklin Azie stated at first that he received partial of his purchase services and later stated that he never received ANY of the work he payed for. And I quote... Frank: "I was eventually able to record all of the footage with Jerron but he only sent me a partial amount of the work we agreed upon." Frank: "To be clear. I paid JY for music videos and he never sent them to me or refunded me my money. I'd have to first point out the contradiction here and state that something is fishy with this story. This post was published March 7, 2016. Mr. Franklin Azie also wrote in his conclusion that our company was ignoring him and not answering any of his messages. Our records show that we both delivered the footage that he payed for as well as extra footage and held multiple conversations recently via email dated February, 25, 2016. Mr. Azie also states that he had done some kind of research about our brand and claims to have found that we have done bad business before. THIS IS ALSO FALSE. If so please show us proof. We offer all of our clients contracts to both protect our brand and our clients. These contracts state what's being done and how much is being payed for the devices in detail. We also have proof of us offering Mr. Azie a contract. We are unsure of what Mr. Franklin Azie is trying to accomplish by slandering our brand with false statements but I can assure you that this isn't how we treat our clients. Reading Mr. Franklins review closely seems to be more of a personal matter than a professional one and out of our being in business for 6 years we have never had any issues with any of our clients in the manner in which Mr. Franklin Azie is describing.. He seems to be upset and emotional because he did in fact maintain a personal friendship with our owner as friends dating back to as early as January of 2015 that no longer exists. Regardless we'd like to thank Mr. Azie for his business and hope that he'd come back to work with us for that all are welcome. We do not discriminate and we always make it our business to make sure that our customers are happy. We find it unfortunate that we aren't the first or only business that has experienced Mr. Franklin Azie aka Frank Spiff's reckless unprofessional wrath.
