Jet Airways India ,Pathetic Customer Service for a simple Reservation Change Mumbai Maharashtra

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing this to let you know about one of the worst customer service I have ever received from an airline - named Jet Airways India Pvt Ltd. I called the Reservation help desk of Jet Airways from US on 11/23/2007 to change the dates in my reservation (PNR# GQGMUE). It took almost 90 minutes for me to complete this transaction.

I am not complaining about the waiting time on phone. In fact a representative picked the phone with in minutes. This was purely the time taken to complete the transaction by talking to the various representatives and the gazillion waiting periods that occurred in between.

I want to let you know that the representatives of Jet Airways need to learn some basic lessons in customer service and conversing over the phone to a customer. If they want the customer to hold for a longer period of time, then they should be polite enough to let the customer know that they will be putting them on hold.

The representatives of Jet Airways just vanish and go to a black hole without giving any clue and all I could hear was the background music on the phone. After repeated calling and some yelling to one of the representatives, I got my job done. But in the meantime I lost my precious 90 minutes.

In the past 10 years I have flown in many international carriers and I have never experienced such a bad experience. This was a simple transaction to change the dates in reservation and get the payment for the fare difference. I have done this many times in the past with other airlines and it doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes to complete this.

As a responsible citizen, I would like to bring this to the attention of every consumer, so that they are not affected with a bad service like this in future from this airline.
