on 8/29/2015 I hired  jaimie Moore who also goes by the name JJR Photography whose website is

I had contacted Jaimie to have her do my wedding in October 2015. She stated she was available that day and let me know her rate per hour which was $50/hr . That fit my budget and so I arranged to meet with her in order to review my wedding with her and the photo's I wanted. I had origionally arranged to meet with her and the night before (at like 2am) she emailed me asking if we could meet later in the day because she has some running around to do with her kids. I thought nothing of this when I woke up and saw the email. I shot her off an email and we re-scheduled for later that day.Some time had passed and she then emailed me with another story of her family member being in the hospital all night and so needed to re-schedule our meeting.

I again thought nothing of this, totally understanding having a family member be ill. So we scheduled for a few days later to meet. I then met with Jaimie in person and provided her a $100 (cash) deposit as a good faith gesture although I admit she stated she did not need a deposit to book the date with her. 

On 9/3 Jaimie then emailed me stating that the day after we met she had been invited to a family event the day before my wedding and so would not be able to be the photographer at my wedding. She then continued by stating she would not refund me my $100 even though it was her canceling on me so that she could go to a family event. 

I find it so unacceptable to keep my refund even though it was you who cancelled on me and only a few days after gladly taking my money.
