At Christmas I had my first visit to New York; in May I was invited in to the shop to be given a replacement MP4 as the original bought there had never worked. Then I was given the hard sell on a Jazz video camera. I needed a camera, didn't know about this one which looked OK. Ended up paying $541.53 for it ($499 with $200 discount, but no MRSP) but sales tax not included separately, so it is a guess.) A 2nd bill for $149.00 was charged, but I have no idea what that was for. I found it afterwards. 2 memory chips for the camera (2 GB), so that it worked, cost $281.87 and refill batteries and battery recharger cost over $200 in cash. Total $1172 for goods worth max $250. My prices come from the internet, when I got home. Imagine how gutted I feel! Oh, New York! and I love you so much - can you help me? Twice bitten and forever shy.
