JK Harris ripoff, waste of time and money, lazy Federal Way Washington

My spouse and I went to JK Harris to assist in a back tax issue. After paying $2500.00 they assured us that it would all be taken care of within 1 yr and we wouldn't have to do anything. They would do it all. Being the nag that I am I was calling them every week after realizing that 8 months had went by and we hadn't heard a thing from them, but we had just heard from the IRS. They hadn't even submitted the paper-work yet.

I ended up calling the IRS myself, doing all the paper-work, all the running around for information and ended up setting up a payment plan for the next 5 yrs. JK Harris said that we wouldn't end up paying more then 2-3 thousand dollars. humm.. Not only did we have to pay more then that, but we paid them $2500.00 to do nothing.

Of course we contacted them about their poor service and asked for our money back, but we were dismissed and were told "it was not their policy to refund". But I guess it is their policy to do crappy work and expect to be paid for it.
