The owner must be referring to the other very negative report his company has on this site. Some of the words she uses to describe this company are; Unprofessional, greedy, overpriced, lazy, adolescentine, disrespectful, deceiptfull, lying bullies!

I will agree with the lady who also reported her horrific experiences; the stain and sand job on her floors did look horrible. However, as I mentioned before; the other flooring company walked off the job. We were mearly hired just to apply the finish or clear coating. You will notice in this ladies report that their was no mention at all of any issues with the finishing. All issues were with the staining and sanding, THAT WE DID NOT DO. Just more and more lies from these bottom feeders. We might be craiglist quality, but what are these guys Service Magic quality.

I mean isn't that where all the reputable builders get their work? Now according to that report these guys are crying to the bank daily. Serves these scrubs right. This time it looks like they ripped off the wrong people. They can insult my occupation, the amount of money I make, or anything else they can think of, but I am far from ignorant.  If the owner would like to pay us our money, we will erase this posting. I warned him about the action I would take and he said to do what I had to do. So I am doing it. Karma is a B.

The ladies report does state that the sanding and staining of these floors was done poorly and I will agree it was. However, as I stated before the other flooring people walked off the job after having done the installation, sanding, and staining of the floors. We were hired ONLY to finish the job and what we were hired to do was apply the finish coating, or clear coat. We did this impeccably and you will notice in this ladies report their is absolutely no mention of poor finishing.

All complaints were related to the stain job and sand job, that WE DID NOT DO. More and more lies from these scrub bottom feeders. Now according to the other complaint, these guys are crying to the bank daily. Serves these scrubs right. You can insult the size of my business, my occupation, or whatever else you can think of, but this time you ripped off the wrong guy. Pay us the money you know that you owe us and we will delete this comment. Karma is a B. 

For the tenth time read her report. It clearly states on this website she won't pay because the floors look like crap. We are getting screwed out of forty thousand dollars. $40k!! You're worried about $300 this is apparently winning your life and i'm sorry your dreams fell into a hole of being a floor finisher. Bottom line i'm.net posting you for a job an owner isn't happy enough with to the point she won't pay. Take it up with her she is obviously crazy. she clearly states the work looks like crap. All probably would've been fine had you not started threats like a child. Grow up, learn how to run a business to where the loss of $300 doesn't put you under

The email says it all. I would be glad to forward this email to anyone considering hiring these storm chasers. No wonder they do their work in the ghetto. Feel free to contact me and I will forward the email from the owner stating the floors look great. I am done responding as these guys have wasted enough of my time, the only card they could possibly play was saying the work wasn't good, but my email from the owner shows, that is a lie.

I guess this is what you get for looking on craigslist. Mr Rhodes is further proving my point by saying she was happy with the floors to him when in her complaint she states the floors look like garbage. As far as the hillbilly references the immaturity doesn't surprise me and further proves someone who acts like a child is profprobablyt incapable of running a business. Show me a contract please, show me something real. We probably do more business in a year then this outfit has done in his career. this is ridiculous, you should need proof to be able to talk in public about a company you know nothing about

First of all. Our work was done very well. In fact, I have an email from the owner, that I would like to share as well as a few other emails. You will notice that the owner and I discussed the use of water finish, which we provided. You will also notice that this individual also states that the floors look great and that his sister needs her floors done. Not one time in my attempts to collect this debt was their any mention of our work not looking good, and if their was we would have fixed it.

We have been members of the Better Business Bureau for years and never had a complaint. If we did we would fix it. This guy told me countless times that we can "settle up" for less that the balance owned. I said, no we are not going to settle up, we had an agreement. A lien was not filed because the balance due was only $450, yet a lien costs nearly $300 to process. Also, we had not provided a lien notice in sufficient time, since the job was done more to help someone in a bad spot, whose other flooring guy walked off the job.

We should have seen all of the signs that this was a poor company to deal with, such as their other guy walking away from the job, and the job being in the ghetto. The other guy probably walked away from the job because he soon discovered they would not be paid for their work. Also, we are not a sub par company who works out of a mini van, we actually have a fleet of 8 vans. This company on the other hand is an absolute joke. They are storm chasers, doing work in the lowest income area of the Twin Cities and they work out of an old beat up pick up truck. Do your self a favor and do not trust these hillbillies. They did a poor job on an entire remodel and decided to stiff us because the lady did not pay them for any of their "sub par" work. Please see the emails below. The two complaints are really stemming from the same issue. The flooring that looks like crap in the long complaint by Kathy Stolte was the work performed by Dustin from Rhodes Flooring. I had to buy the materials for the job, they never showed up when they said they would and the homeowner thought it looked like crap, as did I. As a contractor we've made the twin cities builders association's list of top paying contractors, only given to those contractors who pay subs on time. I can provide you with many references over the years who will pick work from us over any other contractor based on the fact that we pay, and we pay on time. Rhodes Hardwood LLC however does subpar work, the homeowner wasn't happy, and didn't pay for it. We payed them out of our own pockets money that we never got recouped from the homeowner. A normal sub contractor would be intelligent enough to know that the process could go directly to the homeowner. He should've contacted Kathy Stolte and either got payment from her or filed a lein against the home. Clearly a company working out of the back of a mini van that should leave the work to trained professionals who understand what they're doing.
