Stars and stripes equine rescue was founded by Joann Fein & her husband Shawn Avery.  They are both the president & vice president of the organization (isn't that convienent). They ask for hay, feed, blankets, vet supplies, halters ect for there rescue that has not a single horse.   When you view there financials it shows where they are paying themselves for fuel to either pick up or deliver the hay.  What is missing from there site is any information regarding who they help.  They say they helped 3 families feed horses last month. what 3 families?  where are they?  surely you think your donors would like updates to where exactly the feed is going.  The founders of this organization got several ton of feed donated last year to another rescue & only showed up with about 1/2 of what was actually donated.    They had fed the rest of it to there personal horses.
