Joanne E. Girard & Family Deadbeat tenant Chepachet Rhode Island

I just found out this is in this site and am here to say that I had rented a house from these people for about 3 and 1/2 years, I have four children and there never were any problems with paying rent etc. I did all the upkeep on the property myself, including lawn care and the usual maintenance on the property.  I did however work with Elsie McGowan at a local nursing home, of which I was outside one day on break with two other coworkers and over heard someone screaming in a patients room, the director of nursing inquired about what we heard and gave a full report, the employee was Elsie McGowan and this was reportable to the Dept of Health as resident abuse, she was terminanted from work due to this occurance, as you can figure out the next thing you know is I get an eviction notice to vacate the property with a 30 day notice because they stated his son was moving here and renting the property to him, when I went to the court hearing I was told by the judge that if it were family moving into a rented property that it was a 30 day notice and could not extend it, I went to the hearing because it is very difficult to find suitable housing in 30 days.  I did speak with the McGowans and they are unreasonable people, the wife lied through her teeth she probrably didn't want her husband to know the real reasons why she lost her job and went before the board of nursing.  My children are good kids and never on drugs, and I am not in trouble with the law.  Any one who knows me knows that this in nothing but defamation of character going on; and Mr. and Mrs. McGowan you should realize that its illegal in this country.  I should be the one taking these people to court in regards to what is on this site.
