Jode Trucking Inc and/or Jorge Acevedo I requested a refund on an equipment purchased and installed on a commercial truck since it was not working properly. The sale was for $1500 and Jorge agreed to give back $1000. I returned the equipment then later Jorge backed out and refused to give me back my money. Big Spring Texas

 I own a commercial truck and lease out to a frac sand company in Midland, TX. My truck uses equipment to blow sand at needed locations. My truck needed repairs on a specific equipment called blower. Jorge Acevedo from Jode Trucking, Inc. performed 2 services on the blower and due to additional mechanical issues the blower was over heated and did not work any longer, to which Jorge claimed my driver was the one to blame, since according to him, my driver had poor experience using or was negligent about. He suggested we replace the blower with another blower he had in his shop. Which I did and made the purchase for $1500 including installation. This blower did not last one trip and was also over heating, to which Jorge again blamed my driver. In return, my driver was blaming Jorge for "not doing his job right and selling equipment in bad condition" were his exact words. So before we used it any further, I asked for a refund, to which Jorge agreed. I asked my driver to take back the blower to Jorge's shop and Jorge was to send me a check for only $1000, not $1500 since according to him it was poorly used by my driver, to which I did not argue about and agreed to not take back the full amount. He asked me for my address to send the check to and today 2/28 I called him to provide my address I come to the surprise that he is now refusing to give me back my $1000 dollars. The reason he gave was that he had found that the problem was not with the blower, nor my driver, that the problem was the pneumatic tank attached to my truck from which the blower blows the sand from, so he refused to give me my money back. I returned the equipment and he did NOT return my money!!
