I went to buy a truck to suit the needs of my family and was told that the truck of my choice they could not get the payment right on, so i was pushed on another truck that happened to be 2004 fx4 short wide that had been wrecked and I was never told anything about and when i reported the problems that had come about with the truck they told me that it was just too bad i had already bought the truck and it was my problem.

the back glass in the truck had apperantly been replaced and poorly at that cause it still leaks to this day,the paint has chipped of the truck above the door when i was washing it and that is when i seen the bondo above the door which in return caused me to look closer at the truck and found the right front fender had also been replaced and porly painted as well, now the passenger door has started crackin in half just below and to the rear of the window.

i have 9 children in the home and money does not grow on trees for us, i was looking to get a crew cab half ton when this piece of crap was pushed on me and told it was all they would work with me on.

had i known the truck was wrecked i would not have paid 17,200 dollars for it. i would have went some where else all together.

i have had this truck just over a year and it is falling apart around me!

i have babied this truck from the time i have had it and the only thing different about it now from the day i bought it is the mileage (and it fallin apart of course).
i will never buy another vehicle from joe cooper ford and i discourage

anyone else from doing the same.

If this company had any kind of respect for the public it all ,for which we keep them in business they would make this right.....

i work entirely to hard for the money my family and i have to throw it away on trash.......surely if enough of the people they have ripped off stand up maybe we can get our problems corrected. Thank you.

Totally screwed

Asofh, You're Right On!!!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Just browse thru the complaints of alleged ripoffs and you'll see the "quality" of far too many customers...

1. They will gladly play the role of doormat, chump or sucker and then can't understand why they got screwed.

2. To them, the cost of the car is the monthly payment.

3. They sign document after document WITHOUT reading what they signed.

4. They glady accept bogus, add-on, phoney fees.

5. They accept used cars without having the dealer fix the car BEFORE buying it.

6. They don't have a mechanic of their choice to go over the car BEFORE buying it.

7. They can't or won't understand the dealer needs them, they don't need the dealer.

8. Then the ultimate lack of common sense...sending off their money to somebody they don't know to buy a used car, sight unseen on the internet!

Yes, being a smart consumer is a rarity!!!

Confused

I have heard many people complain about getting ripped off by Auto Dealers and it just doesnt make any sense! The consumer has all the control in the situation the consumer has to spend on average 2-3 hours at a car lot to purchase a car and it isnt till the very end when they are asked to sign papers to actually purchase the car. So for 3 hours or 180 minutes you have the option to leave and not purchase anything also in the finance office you are presented all the numbers THEN you sign the contract so you have ample time to get up and leave. Nobody forces people to sign papers at a car lot they dont hide key and they dont lock you in a office!

WELL?

In the state of Oklahoma every used vehicle comes with a buyers guide. This states many things that could go wrong with the vehicle. Also in the state of Oklahoma there are salvage and rebuilt titles. These are for vehicles that can not be fixed correctly, and banks do not lend money on them. From time to time people wreck a car and fix it and then trade it in. Ive been a manager in the auto industry for 10 years now and Ive NEVER had or seen a used car manager go looking for vehicles with body damage. Im sorry that you had a negative selection experiance but that is all it was. You said yes and bought the truck. You spent an average of 2 extra hours after seeing it wraping up your deal. In the future buy what you want and just bring it to your own mechanic first. Just a tip.
