JOE HILES dba JOE HILES ROOFING FRAUD, THIEF, ROOFING CO, VOLUSIA ROOF Holly Hill Florida

This company was hired the summer of 2016 to replace a roof in Volusia County Florida. We paid the co $1942 to begin work as a down payment. On the first day of work, the employees broke into the home during the roof tear off phase and never returned. When I asked the owner of the company about the break in and the lack of finishing the job he refused all and simply ran away. I suffered more than $4,000 in damages and was awarded a judgment yesterday by the Small claims court of Volusia county against this individual and company. 

He later admitted that his workers did in fact break into the home during the job and offered to pay me $100 incrimates to pay me back. I denied and went forth with a formal lawsuit. Please know this is not an individual that you ever want to work for you. The story is even worse as the roof was torn off and when they applied the underlayment the first day, it was not to code and had to be torn off. He left my roof exposed to the hurricane type conditions during the month of June until I could obtain a new roofing contractor to replace my roof almost a month later! 

This was a horrible experience and I want to warn others so they do not hire JOE HILES or JOE HILES ROOFING to do any work for them! If I can help save one person from what we went through, then it will not be in vain. You can search public records on the Volusia County circuit court website and find the final judgment in the amount of $4,092.00
