Joe Keul Took money,outrageous excuses,and couldnt be contacted. Lake Tomahawk Wisconsin

 We had an posted an job position of drywalling on craigslist,when Mr.Keul happened to apply.My husband has M.S.,and was going through a difficult period,and needed to get back to the city.When pressed on issue of licensing,Keul claimed he would provide an "insurance binder",that would satisfy our requests.Meanwhile,as our Bank of America was attempting to forward a money transfer to Mr.Keuls small townbank,it was terminated via Mr.Keuls bank.Thus,prompting a change of attitude by him,not knowing we had documentation already that said it was on Keuls end..not ours...However,thats when our own naiveness set in due to attempting to get consruction process rolling,and Keul demanded we send moneygram ,

so he could start the next day..He successfully did this twice,as ourcabin is far north,and we have no witnesses to if he was or wasnt there..Finally,a neighbor called,and questioned why nobody had been working only a couple hours one day,out of nearly a month.And thats when we realuzed we had been duped.Excuses range from getting runover byagolf cart,to not having internet or phone,to blaming my husband forevery thing he failed to followup per my husbands request such as getting together with local plumber to get lines installed.This was Mr.Keuls logic that it had cost him so much timebecause my husband didnt get the lines in.3, 1/2 hrs and a quarter of a wall drywalled for1400.00..and also came to light,that Mr.Keul is not licensed by the state of wisconsin.
