Joe O’Shansky was a sociopathic predator in the Broken Arrow school system in the 1980s. To call his behavior “bullying” would be an understatement. Beginning in middle school (Sequoyah Middle School), O’Shansky attempted to sexually assault young women at parties that he attended regardless of whether he had been invited. Following these incidents, he recurrently harassed his victims at school and on the telephone, throughout their subsequent years at South Intermediate and Senior High.
O’Shansky--who was in a program in middle school for students who had scored in the 97th percentile or higher on standardized tests—was highly calculating and duplicitous. While he did face several placements in the school’s in-house suspension program, off-campus suspensions and at least one arrest, he was able to escape detection from authorities much of the time.
Years later, it’s ironic to witness O’Shansky’s progressive affectation in his jobs as a journalist at the alternative magazine, Urban Tulsa Weekly and with students at Tulsa Community College. Hopefully, those who come into contact with him are aware of his history.

Mr. Ervin, you work in the Tulsa media and as such you know it's standard ethical procedure that sexual harassment and assault survivors are not named in the press. This media report is not going to abridge that discretion for the purpose of your entertainment. That said, if you're still craving to sadistically name and shame O'Shansky's victims, Broken Arrow, despite its growth, operates like a small town. Ask around and you'll get more specifics.

I've never met Joe O'Shansky. We know people in common, and I came across this while I was looking into a common former employer...
So, I have no idea if anything written about him here is true. For all I know it's all true and then some, and he's an even worse person than he's depicted to be here.
That said-- to publish a report like this that could potentially destroy someone's reputation, family, and life without including your own name so you can vouch for and defend the truth of it is utterly vile and cowardly. There are no sources cited, no specific incidents, people, times, or places mentioned-- just an undefined accusation that he can't answer or defend himself against.
In most legal systems in the world, a person on trial has the right to face his or her accuser. The fact that Mr. O'Shansky isn't on trial in an actual courtroom should say something about the veracity of this report-- and the character of the person who posted it.
