Thanks Marc, I totally agree that we all need to be banding together against this crook and his scams. It is hard to believe that he could have the nerve he does to come out here and defend his actions against Fran.

He openly cons people, tells them they are going to get a FREE Ipod and then sends them these two joke of a URLs and claims he delivered what was promised. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!

His scams are many and you are right, he openly lies in his emails and doesn't think anything about it. I remember one of his emails in which he claims to have been killed in a plane crash (I am sure his many victims were disappointed to learn that he really wasn't) and then jokes about how he got your attention and to read his fraudalent email offer.

Joe Richey is an inbreed con man who in my opinion is running one of the most fraudalent businesses on the Internet. I am compiling stories right now from his many victims and am interviewing as many people as I can that are coming forward to report the various scams he is behind.

Based upon the complaints on this site and the many other sites that his name is all over for fraud, he has left a trail of victims a mile long. Once I have a complete set of records on him from all his victims, I am going to be forwarded them all to the Postal Inspectors and Attorney Generals Office who already has taken notice of the mounting complaints against this scum bag. Whether Joe knows it or not, the wheels are already in motion to bring him and his fraudalent enterprise to justice.

I urge all his victims to keep posting their stories here and to keep all their records of how he scammed and frauded them so that they can later be used in his prosecution.

I kept an old email address of mine on swapsells mailing list, just for the sake of seeing what kinds of nonsense richey uses to lure in his customers. I found one yesterday entitled "Joe Richey Dead! He Has Been Electrocuted." Then when the curious reader clicks on the link to the "article about richey's death" it brings them to his website to promote one of his phony deals. It should seem obvious of course, but I would still like to warn everyone that if an advertiser hooks you in with a lie (such as a fake death, or some other ill-conjured bull****), dont expect anything he tries to offer you to be honest either. If we stick together, we can all help eachother avoid getting cheated, and help drive out the cheaters. Way to go to you also Fran. You know as well as any that we cant let these crooks get away with our money. Standing up and sharing with us your bad experience with this joe richey... Your words may yet act as the small tumbling stones that create an avalanche. Keep up the good work guys.

His cocky answer to go ahead and notify Paypal was due to him already knowing that Paypal will not investigate a claim unless it is for physical goods. Since his fraud on you involved his fraudelant download garbage, he knows full well if you complain to Paypal they will not help you and will allow him to keep the money he has stolen and scammed you out of.

If you notice in the scam artist Joe Richeys rebuttal he doesn't even try to explain his fraudelant actions, he simply replies he delivered everything promised. Well, he in fact hasn't! He promised to deliver a real source for wholesale Ipods and in fact has only sent two URLs which DO NOT OFFER WHOLESALE Ipods.

One of the two URLS is to a marketing company that makes you sign up for many of their worthless trial programs of which they get paid for by the program sponsers. They clearly state you are only allowed to particapate one time and to recieve only one Ipod. How is this a wholesale source? It is not, IT IS FRAUD pure and simple committed by the scam artist Joe Richey who promises for $19.95 he will give you real wholesale sources for Ipods.

The bottom line on this guy is he is a real scam artist with hundreds of complaints all over the Internet. There are many sites filled with complaints about the rips offs, the fraud and the outrageous lies this con artist has pulled off on innocent people who have tried to purchase from him.

Do not get scammed by this guy, STAY CLEAR of him and if you are one of the many victims he has scammed be sure to file complaints with the Attorney Generals office in your state, in his state of Oregon, the Postal Inspectors, the FBI and a new (not rebuttal) report here on this site ASAP.
