I got the full John Beck rip off. I purchased the mentoring institute and then was strong armed into purchasing property from the land bank.

I was guaranteed that I would have my money back for the course by reselling the property. In order to make my money back, I purchased land in Fl from the Land Bank.There was virtually nothing to choose from, but I wanted to get my "investment" back that I was guaranteed.

Unfortunately, the land that I purchased was unusable according to county zoning. John Beck emailed personally and said, "If your information is correct, we will have a full refund of your entire purchase price". The PROOF from the county was faxed to John on Nov. 9,2006.

I have emailed John repeatedly and I have heard nothing back from him.

Other people have bought the land and then could not get rid of it.

Please cut and paste this link below and please watch this news report video done on John Beck's Mentoring of America and how they have been sued repeatedly this year. It was aired on live TV. This person went through your exact same situation and got her money back. Use this news video below and all the complaints against them on this site to dispute the charges/fight for a refund with your credit card company or bank if it's still within 60 days,

If you are past 60 days since you paid for this garbage, read past complaints and follow my step by step guide for a refund. Just type John Beck or Mentoring of America in the search box of this site and read.

I have gone through their entire coaching program and done everything I was told to do. It's utter garbage. Read my other post for my detailed experience call by call. What they never tell you is that there are just too many rules and regulations that change from state to state, and county to county that hinder you.

For example, in many states like Arkansas, after you buy tax sale land, by law you cannot resell it to anyone until you keep it and pay taxes on it for at least one full year. It's two years in other places. It's also difficult, costly, or sometimes just not possible to have a title search done on a property in many other states so that you know what you are about to inherit if you buy.

In many states and counties, if you buy a tax sale property and pay for it and become the new owner, the original owner still has a certain amount of time to pay his delinquent taxes and make them current again even after you have become the new owner. When they pay back their due taxes during this time, the original owner takes the property back from you, and you loose the money you paid for it. You have to hope that the owners will not pay back the tax owned in time and that time runs out.
