I bought the "free and easy" tapes to learn how to buy tax-lien certificates. One month later, Dean Walker, from John Becks office (really a boiler room scam artist) called and interviewed me over the phone for over 1 hour to see if I had what it takes to receive special coaching. He said that John Beck only wanted to work with a few highly intelligent guru's who were coachable in his field and I would receive "hands on" training from the guru himself. I answered all his questions (he made it seem so legitimate) and he guaranteed that I would make back my investment in 90 days with their help.

I signed up for the deluxe package -over $12,500 which includes a 2 day seminar in Las Vegas. The coaching has been a joke and haven't earned a penny nor have I learned enough to try out their methods (blindly buying properties on the public "Bid for Assets" web-site. I was told all I have to do is work with a real estate agent in California (never gave me the name of who this ghost-agent is) and bid on these properties on line (I live thousands of miles away in Illinois). When I asked how to dispose of these properties I was told I could also sell them on-line (without seeing them --as long as the trusted "agent" could confirm that the property was in good shape. I stopped after 5 useless sessions and am not interested in the Vegas conference (I'm afraid of what I would say to "Guru" Beck if he showed up at this conference--of course I would have to pay for the trip out there as well as the hotel and I have no interest in going or wasting more money.

I wish there was some way of getting some of my investment back but was told "all sales are final--including this conference" which I have no interest in attending. I spent 30 minutes arguing with their customer service dept. without any luck--wish someone out there could give me some advise. I have learned a valuable lesson and am still involved with real-estate on my own. Bought a foreclosure home that my group (sister, brother-in-law and wife are working on to recoup some of my losses--this was bought on my own with no help from the John Beck mentoring "fiasco"---Any suggestions would be appreciated.

File Complaints I am working trying to also get money back from them

AUTHOR: Al - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 24, 2005

Yes, I am working trying to also get money back from them. If it was a credit card transaction file a dispute with your card company first. If you feel you where decieved or they committed fraud file your complaint with the UT Consumer Protection Division, the UT BBB and the,FTC,Federal Trade Commision.

It would be hard for anyone to provide good advice with out knowing more information. As more individuals come forward a class action suite will more likely be filed or the Federal Trade Commision will take action. I know where your comming from don't give up.

Hey there John,

I hope that this rebuttal finds you in good spirits and health.

Phone your credit card company immediately and dispute the charge. Don't think for a second, regardless of what this fraudulent company claims, that you have no recourse.

Many have disputed the transactions by this company and have successfully proven John Beck's program fraudulent in the process, despite the disquise of "quality of service" by credit card companies.

John Beck's programs are all scams and it is very easy to prove to whomever is put in charge of investigating your dispute.

Write your credit card company's dispute department a simple but detailed letter explaining your situation and also direct them to this website to view the many other unacknowledged, unresolved and unexplained complaints regarding the scam of John Beck and his team of incestuous beings.

What is fraudulent to many, can in no way be legitimate to others. John Beck's programs are based on fraud, therefore are fraudulent.

Until next time, take care John cause I care, Aloha from Hawaii and God Bless.
