Glad to see someone posted something on this guy. I have been trying to collect my money from this guy for months in fact almost a year now. He's a crook. He won't pay. He will tell you that he will pay you, money is really tight right now, hang in there with me. You can trust me. I'll take care of you., blah, blah, blah.

I have seen him do this for years to people. Be thankful you weren't one of the ones that begged and begged for the money that was due to you for months, finally get a check, run to the bank to deposit it, run home to pay your past due bills (late fees included), finally have a peaceful night's sleep only to wake up to a phone call from the bank stating that the check you just deposited had a stopped payment put on it. What a coward.

Oh let's not forget to mention that when you finally do get paid from him, after he ignores your calls for days, sometimes even weeks, it will always be late...always some excuse...and always, I'm having some money issues, can you hold on for a couple weeks?" Usually this one happens when he is about to beg the mayor for some money or better yet Quad County Urban League. But that's another story.

As for the first poster (the tub refinisher) I know who you are, we worked together and you do impeccable work. So don't think he did not pay you based on your quality of work (this is his common excuse). It was all planned not to pay you from the minute they called you for an estimate. Hopefully one of the landscaping companies that he used finds this posting. I know that he and his two sons are still owed for a whole summer of lawn cutting. He walked off because of nonpayment - but that is not what his wife told everyone. She said that they had to get rid of him because he was way overweight and he was going to have a heart attack while cutting their lawn - you should see the size of her.

I have witnessed them do this with the carpet installers, roofers and painting crews. Don't pay the first contractor, get a second, don't pay the second, oh I need a contractor again, don't pay another contractor to pay for the first contractor to get him in again...cycle starts all over again. Then, when they can't get a contractor in the to do the job, they'll have tenants of their apartment buildings do the work, and not pay them, and then evict them for nonpayment of rent. WHAT???

I left the job in January of 2008 for non-payment for over a month, enough was enough. They tell everyone that I was fired. Well I have never been an employee of theirseven though I should have been made one. I worked for him on a contractual basis full time. The IRS would love to find out about that. He promised to help with my tax situation as well sell me a condo that they owned for 50k. When it came time to purchase the condo, I told him that I needed my pay so I would be able to put a down payment on the condo. He never paid and sold the condo to someone else for the said price of 56k. I was living in the condo at the time and had 14 days to move from the condo.

But one of the best things about this whole situation is that when I stopped working for them, the wife told everyone that they had to let me go because I was just in a very bad mood because my boyfriend left me. If that isn't the best story ever. The truth of this matter is I left him over four years ago I'm over it everyone else should be too.

So, you people that may be considering doing business with him - DONT!!!
Pay me the lousy $1500 bucks you owe me. Its not for rent. I never had a lease with you.
