I got John passed along to me by another contractor who I already paid but could never get him over to start the Job John Agreed to take this job and initially it was to rip out an old shower and put in a new one. John had a helper rip out and attempt to rough in a shower but that was a complete failure as he was here 3 days and John had to come back and start all over. John fired this guy but still paid him (why, I have no idea) but I mention this point because he is the first of 2 helpers where work had to be re-done and this is John's whole problem....he has helpers who mess up and then work has to be redone...so basically he is chasing money the entire time. He did do alot of work for me but I paid for all the material and paid him over $6000 in Labor. That would have been fine if all the work was good, but it was really bad.

Whatever you do, don't let this guy do any plumbing for you. He replaced a Toilet that I had to call a plumber to fix the leak (he likes to use shark bite fittings which the plumber said even if they don't leak at first they will leak later. (this was over $200) Then after he left me high and dry I had to have the plumber come out again to fix the toilet he installed which would constantly run....also I had to have him fix the drain on the tub as it wouldn't close as well as the shower that was super hard to turn on. This was another $173 The Toilet was because when he replaced the Flange he didn't clean out the debris...and both the drain and the shower handle were full of grout, so that was their issue. The Tub he set for me doesn't drain all the way and instead I have a puddle of water that sits in the middle....so I have to manually drain it with a sponge or using my hand to slosh it down the drain....when I complained about it he got very defensive and stated..."what do you want me to do?...I didn't manufacture the tub" - No you didn't, but you didn't set it correctly either and that is the problem!! The Tile in the kitchen had to be redone but because so much of it was messed up I am stuck with horrible gaps in areas that are completely ridiculous....unfortunately the place were I got it from no longer carried it and I couldn't find it anywhere. He also broke a piece off the toilet when installing...I got a hold of a replacement for it but he never fixed it. The Shower tile has 2 tiles with nicks in them he was supposed to fix but never did. The grout in the new Floor he laid (which was originally a bright white) was all dingy and dirty...and whenever I brought it up to him he would say..."Don't worry about it....I am going to regrout it and it will look great" Of course, you guessed it....it never happened. When he put in the Can Lights he never went back up and pushed back the insulation. I had a wall repaired where the accent tile on the shower was and his helper grouted along it and now it looks horrible.

And now I will tell you why John Bailed on the Job. When the other guy (Troy Davis) handed this job off to John he said in front of us both that he was going to come back and hang the doors. This issue went back and forth as John Said he would do it but he was going to charge me $250. I then tried to get Troy to come and do it again but he wouldn't....John felt bad for me and said he would. Well, John Broke the first panel he tried to install, and from then on he was only to be seen dropping off his helper for the next 2 days who did a super bad job. (btw it cost me $529 for the panel he broke and another $350 to have it installed) John Said his helper re-grouted the floor (which I highly doubt because while I was working I heard him scrubbing in the master bath and the floor looks exactly the same...He also said his helper Fixed the toilet...which was still running and the broken part still not replaced. I gave him a bad review on FaceBook and he responded in anger and tried making it look like all I had to do was contact him. Yet I have been calling and texting him for the last 3 weeks...when I call it goes straight to VoiceMail, so I am sure he is blocking my number...left a VM anyway, but of course I hear nothing
