John Cannon himself is cunning and deceitful, Don't be fooled by his honest demeanor. It's all a act to get you to sign the contract and then screw you with the extras. All the items that they promised you are all of sudden not included in the contract and now are extras. For example darker paint is now a upcharge, texturing of walls is extra. After the house is built they promise to come back out to do a one year walk though, Total B.S.. We are still waiting. Cracks in floor, roof tile cracks and crooked, cracks on exterior walls. They will promise you the world until that contract is signed. My advise to anyone who is about to sign a contract with John Cannon is to talk to someone who has already has built with them in the past, and make sure it is Not someone who is trying to help closeout the community! That was our mistake!! Realtors are liars and are in it for themselves. Anyone who has built with John Cannon in the community "The Forest" in Sarasota has the same feeling!! Be Careful!!

Cracks can be minimized by using wire mesh, John Cannon Homes uses fiber mesh! Other track home builders use Matting systems under there tile work, John Cannon Homes does not! There is something called a verbal agreement that when you say you are going to do something you do! That high density foam that you have in showroom is great, Not like the crap you put on my house! Show someone one thing give them another, This must be something you do for the rich people. All I wish is that one person reads this and doesn't build with you. Keep sending the rebuttals! And really I couldn't afford this house or I just don't like getting ripped off!

With any contract you should READ what you are signing. Why would you not put everything you want in the contract you sign? Things you add to a contract are going to be more expensive when you go outside what your contract has in it...why is that such a surprise? That is so crazy that people that have sooo much money and think they are sooo smart act sooo stupid once they sign a 500,000.00 to multi million dollar contract to build a home. Are we back in the early 2000's where no one had the money but wished for everything in the world for free? Reality alert!!!
When you don't pay for things in your contract and you want to add them...they cost money!!! Should there now be a charity for rich people ??? PLEASE!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! If you can not afford it...DO NOT BUILD IT!!!! Maybe you should of built a track home...I'm sure the experience would of been soooo much better. BTW...cracks in construction...a common thing..we are on a pennisula surrounded by water...and cracks are odd to you? PLEASE!!! Welcome to Florida... be glad you dont have a sink hole...but I'm sure that would be John Cannon Homes fault as well.
