I attended the Casablanca center in Oklahoma city. At first everything was going great, I did extremely well, and was told I would get a job in no time. Though you shouldn't always believe what you hear, when I went to the interview to be accepted they told me and my father that "I would get a job, to help pay for the classes."

Now my family is not rich, and live on a set income, so when they begin to demand more and more money, and was not setting up any 'gig's' for me, then it became extremly hard to pay for the classes. I completed the classes, but was unable to pay the amount in full. The diploma you are suppose to recieve when you complete the classes, I never recieved mine, they said they would not release it until the payments were paid in full. How am I suppose to get a modeling/acting job without proof that I completed the classes? A rip off, yeah! I advise anyone who is thinking about joining the centers, DON'T, they just get you all excited and make it sound like you're going to make it big, then they break their word.

not very profesional How can this continue to happen?

AUTHOR: Ariane - (U.S.A.)

I was just petitioned for john casablaca in san diego and they told me that the could guantee me jobs to pay off my tuition handing out flyers and even reception work at the office.

I thought it was great but when I had to cancel my contract they became rude. I did what I was supposed to do by filling out the proper paper work as well as putting in a courtesy call and they were short and hung up quickly.

The company is not very profesional and even thought i How can this continue to happen?lost my 100 dollar deposit i am glad that I didn't waste 2300 on it. A lesson well learned.

The John Casablanca you attended did rip you off, but please don't discredit all John Casblanca's.

I attend one in Towson, MD and they said you are never gauranteed jobs. They even told us that if any of the other instructors told us or if any one did other than the client your going to work for they're not being truthful because you can never be guaranteed a job unless the client says so.

I was never told that I needed more and more money. We're definately not rich and they gave us a pying contract and that's what they stuck to. THey said pay this much money and 18% interest or sum odd % interest and that's it. You can go to Actornews.com or MANY MANY MANY other sites for acting/ modeling jobs. You do not need to attend a modeling school in order to get jobs.
