John F. Brewington, JFB Acquisitions poses as a consumer advocate at various sites when he is, in fact, a CREDITORS rights advocate to screw over the consumer. Seems to be very strongly allied with Steve Miller of Federated Financial fame. John F. John F. Brewington is an Arizona private investigator.
As near as I can find his license is still valid. I kept running into this guy at various consumer advocacy websites posting as "Paladin", "Templar", "Frank Brewer" and "Dakota". Brewington was occasionally offering to help consumers and advocates, supposedly pro bono, but these offers were really fishing expeditions designed to gain the trust of consumer advocates and gather information for the "real" client (skanky companies).

Brewington was showing up at many of Steve Miller (Federated Financial) goofy gripe-sites concerning Rip-offReport.com which is where he caught my attention. Miller would start a thread and Brewington would step in to pick it up and run with it under one alias or another. It was just too coincidental and I was finally forced to believe that Brewington and Miller are in league with one another. They play good cop, bad cop too well together for this to be accidental. (Many of Miller's former sites are dismantled now; to hide the evidence, I assume.) I believe that Miller was paying Brewington and that checks or money orders could be obtained to verify that association.

Brewington under all his aliases had one message and it made no sense at all at first. He was claiming that Bud Hibbs and Rip-off Report were in an elaborate scam with someone named Robert Paisola in order to profit from the misery of the posters at their respective sites. Misery loves company but there is not a lot of profit to be made from the already scammed. Their money is already gone! I was intrigued and mystified by this.

I was not familiar with Robert Paisola at all, so I looked up his website. I had never heard of a consumer advocate named Robert Paisola. Turns out that Paisola is a creditor's rights advocate. He helps creditors with various collection issues. What a monstrous plot! Consumer advocates and a creditor advocate in league with each other to make bushels of cash by playing the game at both ends. I was crushed!

Not quite so fast, though. Come to find out, Brewington runs an outfit called JFB Acquisitions which is also a creditor's rights company. Brewington does skip tracing and other jobs for those looking for debtors. Brewington will also visit many websites for his clients and post terrible things about anyone exposing his client as a fraud. Ok, Brewington works for companies that get complaints against them at consumer complaint sites. He is writing horrible things about consumer advocates and things in support of bad companies. He also does not like the creditor rights advocates. Is this man sane?

When John F. Brewington is not being a P.I. in Chandler, AZ he is working as a nasty debt collector in a legitimate firm in Phoenix, AZ. He uses his employers work computers and contacts to illegally access information about those he seeks to defame instead of doing the work assigned to him by his employer. He uses his P.I. license to access things that the average person could not. Bad John!

Brewington was using those work computers to gather information about Bud Hibbs and this site's editor. Then he would post all the bad stuff he found all over the Internet and make wild threats against the advocates AND Paisola. Much of the garbage he was posted was just plain wrong, but he just kept on. This Brewington did not like anyone, no matter which side of the fence they are on. Is Brewington nuts? Off his meds, maybe? Split personality? I guess the one thing John forgot is that Internet activity is traceable and that was a huge mistake on his part. Maybe John is just not very bright under all his bluster.

In retrospect it does all makes sense. As a debt collector, Brewington resents anyone who attempts to help consumers defend themselves against the many sleazy debt collectors popping up all over these days. So he hates Bud Hibbs and Rip-offReport.com. And since John Brewington is in direct competition with Paisola with his JFB Acquisitions, it is in all his interests to smear him, too.

Brewington dreamed up a ?one-size-fits-all-plot? that would effectively denigrate everybody at the same time. Rather masterful, but the man has a big mouth, told lies all over the Internet, and he is caught out now. People who have worked with Brewington in the past say he is a serial liar with delusions of grandeur.

Considering that Brewington has lived in many states over the past few years, he may have packed his bags and moved on even as I am writing this report. He is a drifter without roots. Maybe he will move on and shut up now.

Consumers need to be careful if they are contacted by someone claiming to want to ?help? them. If a consumer initiates a contact with an advocate and receives a response, that response is probably legitimate. But if a Paladin rides out of the fog offering to save you and you have no knowledge of this person, a good response might be to tell him to ride on out of town before sundown.
