John Grogan (thePIgroup) Took my money and never produced a product West Hills, CA CA

John Grogan, apparent operator of thePIgroup, has a website advertising study material for the California Funeral Director, Cemetery Manager and Crematory Manager Exam.  I called the number provided on the site, reaching John Grogan (or that's who he claimed to be).  I told him I was interested in the Cemetery Managers Exam study material, and he quickly encouraged me to “Buy the whole package” for an extra price totaling $205.00, which covered material for the three aforementioned exams. I agreed, and was told that I could pay by personal check or money order. I asked about Credit Cards, and was told they no longer accept credit cards due to "too many bad numbers, cards, etc." This was the first red flag, and Ishould have walked away.

I agreed to send a money order, which was cashed at a Bank of America, location and Branch undetermined. Twelve days later, I had not received anything from this business and tried to determine if the material had been sent by talking to John.  He could not (and has not) provided a tracking number, receipt or any other verification of a postal transaction.  Oddly enough, He sent a pic of what appeared to be the study guide with my name on it.  Once again, I couldn't to verify it's authenticity.  When I asked if this was even a legitimate business, John clamed that "we send things out everyday" and that they would "resend" the material if I didn’t receive anything.  A heated conversation ensued thereafter, and I believe he blocked my number.  I still do not have the material, and have realized I have been scammed by this Charlatan and his fictitious enterprise; I have since written a demand letter, hired an Attorney and Private Investigator to begin a legal case against this Criminal and his divisive business practice.  HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.
