John Hogan Roofing Hogan Roofing John hogan roofing still has not fixed our roof in Clearwater Clearwater Florida

This company still as of today has not made our roof and interior damage right! John Hogan Roofing installed my roof, damaged some soffit which they replaced but what we didn't know at the time was that they did not tie in the new roof to an existing pitched roof properly even though that was something that was in the contract that they would do. We did not find this issue until 5 years later. For the last 5 years everytime it rained water was getting in under the pitched roof panels. Back in August of 2013 we had several days worth of extremely heavy rain. the water that was flowing under the pitched roof finally found its way into our attic space and started leaking in our kitchen first and then it ran to our master bedroom. We called John Hogan and it took many phone calls for him to come to our home to see the issue. He told us it was not his work but our responsibility to replace/seal the tie ins along the two roofs, we did what he said but still had a leak. After having 4 different contractors inspect our roof we found that the north and south end tie ins were not done properly by John Hogan roofing. It again took many phone calls to get him to come out again. He insisted upon putting a garden hose in the opening they left to see if it was causing the leak. Low and behold it started leaking again. He sealed this opening and it has not leaked since but he will not take responsibility and repair all the damage caused inside our home (i.e., the ceiling in my master bedroom ultimately fell down due to the weight of the water that saturated the ceiling.) I have filed a claim with the BBB and he still won't work with us to come to an acceptable resolution. In fact, he would not even respond to the BBB in reference to the claim. This was just this week so the bad mark on his BBB will be posted shortly.
I am writing this review so that no one else has to go through this type of issue. The insurance companies no longer handle interior damage unless it is caused by a large item such as a tree limb that falls through the roof. They will not cover poor workmanship.
He is very unprofessional, arrogant, does not return phone calls in fact his message on his cell phone says not to leave a message and he does not guarantee his work as he states on his website. 
Do not use this Roofer, you will not be satisfied either with his workmanship or customer service.
