Re: F.C. No: P08-1902
During my Divorce adjudication my spouse was granted ALL her demands without a single question on the stand. When I took the stand, he ruled against me ALL 3 times I contested her actions, before I even finished replying to the questions posed to me.
I was born in India, and have been a US citizen since 1982, married to a white woman from RI for the past 28 years. Her own admission of adultery was disallowed, and the reason for the divorce was changed to irreconcilable differences, (what the heck does irreconcible differences mean, any way? That just says I want a divorce for no reason I can think of.) When I requested the reason for the divorce be adultery, I was denied. No reason given. I requested my wife and I try reconciling, I was denied. No reason again. When I requested consideration of a negative equity share in one residential home, to offset the positive in a second condo, I was told my spouse can share in the positive equity distribution, but she did not have to share in the negative one. Both properties are in both our names. Again I was shot down with no reason for the ruling. I got the impression I was bothering HIS HONOR.
Sour grapes notwithstanding, I feel I was discriminated, probably on the race difference thing. Please tell me what else it could be.
The reason for this posting is for the next guy/woman to be aware that John McCann may tend to be a nonprofessionally bigoted judge. In my opinion, an incompetent one. Watch Out.
Lastly I found out that my attorney, my spouse's attorney and Judge McCann routinely play golf togather, with other Judges and lawyers. Impartial decisions? How??

Are you kidding?

Flynrider made a mistake and was called on it. Well unlike the vast majority of posters who are "called" on their mistakes he actually posted that in fact he did make a mistake.
Anyway back to the OP. You see many reports here where the "looser" feels that they didn't get to say their side or that the judge was somehow picking on them. It would be one thing if he was "on record" at spouting racist comments to you. But nothing here shows that he was discriminating against you. Unless there is a law that says a judge has to order a couple to attempt to reconcile, asking him to do it seems a bit excessive.
If anything is valid in this report it is that it sounds like at best you had an incompetent attorney, at worst there may be some "Conflict of Interest" that you may want to take up with the State bar association.

I understand

Yes, I understand that, I know you got a bad deal, and its just amazing how that guy just goes after you like it was personally directed at him without even reading your comment. I decided to post that comment because flynrider (after doing a light google search) seems to TROLL this board and just respond with hate and fury. There is definitely something wrong with this guy. He also responded to me with no help, no suggestions, and nothing positive to add to the situation. I just hate to see him going around spouting off about stuff he doesn't know, and when he attacked me, well lets just say thats the wrong decision on his part. All his comments are negative and derogatory like he's just the man of everything financial. Why anyone like that feels compelled to sit on here all day and just spout negative comments is beyond me. I almost stopped using this site because of his comments as I'm sure many others feel the same way. He's dangerous to this site cause he will drive users away.
And as for your situation, the judge's are all wacked. I've heard of people losing cases who clearly shouldn't have and people winning cases who did not expect to win. In fact, I hear more about people getting the short end then I do about justice being served. It's not just where you live, it's truly our whole system and that's why everyone is in the position they are in. Most judges are sons or daughters of someone important who have NO BUSINESS being in the position they are in. Also, sitting in on random court proceedings will let you see this as well. I do not recommend this, but I take matters into my own hands by any means necessary. But like I said, I do not recommend you do this cause if you are not careful, you might overstep the laws.
The only reason he apologized was because he saved face, which at that time was completely useless. Notice how he only apologized and never followed up with his comments except to lash our at your choice of attorney. Like I said, we all know we made mistakes and got the short end, we don't come here to get more backlash. I applaud your decision to post your story and having the courage to let others know. You do the right thing by posting your story here as long as it's the truth as far as you know. You might save someone else from having to deal with a judge who throws out the law because of personal reasons.
Similarly, I was born in 1982, and am a immigrant from south africa. I was railroaded in a similar fashion by a judge who never let me get a word in. I hope eventually the light will be shed and retribution will be given to the one's who were wronged. The judges do what they want, and no one ever stops them.

Thanks anonymous. I felt like you did, w/ flynrider's comments, but he did own up, so maybe 3 strikes and you are out might apply.
I know I got a lousy deal all around, bad wife, bad lawyer, bad judge. Life sucks sometimes.
But its good to vent here. Hopefully the lousy judge won't louse up the next guys' life.

flynrider strikes again

Wow flynrider, I took a look at all the comments you wrote on ripoff report and you are just a sad pathetic little person. Look at how you jump all over someone without it being true, just put away your keyboard bud, go out to the desert and just live there. Then you could save yourself from the embarrassment that you provide yourself each day.

Whoops.

All those statements about the OP requesting this and that from the judge led me to believe he was doing it on his own. Missed the last line about the attorney.
Now I feel kind of silly because it sounds like even though he had an attorney, it appears that it was a really bad one.

"Sour grapes notwithstanding, I feel I was discriminated, probably on the race difference thing. Please tell me what else it could be."
The most obvious reason would be that you appear to have acted as your own lawyer. That never works well in practice. Particularly if your self-representation includes a court appearance.
There is some truth to the old saying, "He who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client."
