John & I wrote 2 life insurance policies in June 2018. He stalled at paying me my portion of the commission. Finally on January 31, 2019 (8 months later) he wrote me a check, but refused to show me the commission paid. We agreed to split 60/40. So the check he wrote, I questioned.
He told me he didn’t have to show me the commission paid. So I deposited the check and was going to cut my losses from him. The next day I was informed by my bank that he put a “Stop Payment” on the check.
I have contacted Equis Financial on 3 separate occcasions, no call back from Management. There are good people running Equis, I can’t believe they would want this person representing Equis Financial.
Don’t do business with John Melvin. He is dishonest and has stolen my commission.
