At first John worked on a blog for our website and that went well. We discussed updating our entire website to a wordpress format.  He was very friendly and positive he would be able to complete the project in a timely manner.  I sent him a deposit of $750.00.  I then got him all the information needed and for some reason there was a delay right away.  He then assured me he would get back on track.  He got started and we had a few phone meetings.  Things started to get moving and then one after another an excuse would pop up (power went out, he went out of town, problem with images, waiting for response from other people, etc).  Then finally he just stopped getting back to me. When I was obviously frustrated he offered to give a refund and it has been about 2 months along with numerous emails asking for it.  Our situation is basically the same as the other report for him.  We are a small business where every penny counts.  We feel like he took advantage of us and we are not going to just let this go.  Consumers beware, this man is not trustworthy!!
