I rented a property from the so-called "Man of God". I shouldv'e known from the first time seeing the property that it was not going to be good. He told me that the property would be clean by the time I moved in, but after getting my security deposit and my first month's rent I was in for a rude awakening. The house was a disaster and I called and asked him about it several times and he finally gave me the phone number of the person the was supposed to get the junk out. Well when I called him he was livid, and asked me why did I call him, and why did the landlord give me his number. Ok, so I finally decided he's not giving me my money back so I started cleaning. After 2 weeks of cleaning and the property finally was sufficient to move in I learned that it's a complete fire hazard. There are shortages with the light fixtures the switches, and half of the electrical outlets in the house don't work. After it started getting hot outside I called to find out where the air conditioning units air filter was. He promptly told me he didn't know. I asked when was the last time it was changed he didn't know that either.

The final straw, the heat index outside was over 100 degrees and I came home from work to find that the air conditioner did not work at all. I sent him a text message letting him know that it was not working. I did not get a response for 7 days and then he told me to call somebody to come out and it was 39.95 and I could deduct it from the rent. Well I had two professionals come out and neither one of them charged under $200.00. Again, 2 more weeks go by and I still hadn't heard a word. 

Be very careful who you rent from. I am posting this because I don't want anyone else to be a victim to this predator that's only looking for a quick dollar. He hides behind the statement that "I am a preacher". I can't stress enough beware of this person. He not only wanted me to pay rent but also do the repairs to the house.
