We signed an agreement in May 2014. I provided a nearly complete manuscript, publisher query letter and an advance of $350.
John Riddle promised me a polished query letter, two polished sample chapters and the potential of a publisher by the end of May. Things got off to a slow start for which he gave the excuse of various losses and illnesses in the family, computer issues and finally... a vacation. In July he sent me a standardized list of book marketing ideas. I responded, asking him who was to undertake the action points. He never responded.
I never received any of the services paid for. I maintained a firm but cordial tone. John has not responded to any of my email or telephone attempts.
