On about June 25 2003. I entered an agreement with John Thompson of Ruskin Florida. Mr. Thompson agreed to sell and ship me 20 used Vendstar 3000 bulk candy machines in good condition. On June 26, 2003 I sent Mr. Thompson $2000.00 via Paypal. Mr. Thompson agreed to start sending them that week.
After about 2 weeks I contacted Mr. Thompson and asked him about the status of the delivery. He stated that 2 of the machines were sent. I did receive 2 machines in mediocre condition not good condition later that week.
After another week I still had not received the rest of my machines. I called Mr. Thompson numerous times and e-mailed him numerous times without a response. I have requested either the machines or my money back.
About two weeks ago I threatened to press criminal, and civil charges on his answeing machine. He returned my call and promised that he sent 12 more of the machines. I received 2 machines again in mediocre condition not good condition as promised.
It has now been two months. I have received only 4 of 20 machines. I feel it is unlikely that I will ever get the product or my money without going to small claims court.
Mr. Thompson talks a good game. He seems friendly, apologetic and like a good person. At the end of the day he does not deliver what he promised, took my money and won't return phone calls. Beware if you are considering doing business with this man.

Over a year later I have received 17 of the 20 machines that I paid for. The majority of these machines that he sent are junk.
I have filed a small claims case in Will county to recover the damages that Mr.Thompson has caused me. Mr. Thompson has been dodging the process server for several months.
