Jordan Appliances DISHONEST, DECEITFUL, ALL ABOUT THE MONEY Durham North Carolina

  I purchased Electrolux French Door refrigerator, that was insured worked fully functional and properly. Ice Maker does not work. I purchased the above said newly-new product,model# EW28BS85K Stainless Stell Wave Touch refrigerator from business on March 6, 2017.I paid in cash $1139.00 with my Debut Card, to include taxes and delivery charge. I was provided with Owners Manual as stated in previous phone cal that morning and was only given receipt of purchase. Owner stated that his warranty is 90 days from date of purchase and if any problems arrived after 90, he could be called on for repairs. Owner informed me that product was discounted from Lowes Home Improvement and insured me that it was fully functional and worked properly in regards to refrigerator, freezer and ice-maker. Owner installed product on same day and informed me that ice would produce in ice-maker within 72 hours.

I phoned Owner (Mr. Jordan) four days later (March 10, 2017)to inform him that ice was still not being produced. It took him approximately a week to return to my home and inspect it. He reset factory defaults and provided me with a data sheet for future references in regards to ice-maker. he again stated that ice should produce within 72 hours. After the said 72 hours,I phoned Mr. Jordan to inform him of continued situation with having no ice and he stated that he would return to check water pressure on the refrigerator. He never returned and I have phoned him at least 20 times within the last few weeks. Mr. Jordan is avoiding my calls and text and he is having his assistance inform me that he is unavailable. I still have not heard from him, not will he accepts my calls.

I finally got him to come by just to argue about repair. I have had to purchase another refrigerator and the one he sold me is siting out in my garage. I contacted Attorney Generals office and they sent him a leter after two trys because his address was listed incorrect online. They contacted me on 4/13 to inform me that Mr. Jordan had informed them, that he sold me the product at a yare sale. Big liar!! People don't provid receipts at yard sales. Additionally, his business is also not registered with the Durham County Tax Ofice.

  This individual is ripping people off. The BBB stated that they had several complaints against him, but because his address was incorrect, the letters were returned. Someone needs to shut him down. I will see him in court!
