Jorge Rivera, Bella Collina - Rivali Development Group STOLE 100K Tamarindo, Guanacaste Costa Rica

After visiting Costa Rica and loving the country my husband and I placed a deposit on a condo to be built in the beautiful Bella Collina development in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We gave the developer 100k and soon after the great recession started to take hold. We were told the development was being put on hold and remained in constant contact with a man named Ali - a real estate agent who worked for the company.

After months and years of being told various different stories about the money going into a trust and investors banding together to get the money back we recieved a maniacal email from jorge Rivera talking about his mental illness and how all us stupid American Gringos are idiots for trying to get homes in Costa Rica. He rambled about how he had ripped all of us of and bragged about how dumb we all were.

Obviously this man is not only a crook but also a demented individual. I would like to hopefully find others who were ripped off by this man and Rivali Development to see if there is anything we can do to band together and get our money back.

The website is still up and running which makes me wonder what exactly is going on - if anything. I also hope people will this see this email and avoid any transactions with this man or company he is involved in.
