Josco Energy LLC of New Jersey is an alternate energy supplier in New Jersey. After a door to door salesman knocked on my door and promised me a huge savings and rebate, I switched energy suppliers. I believed him. I could not have been more wrong. I had Josco for only three months. But their obscenely higher costs nearly brought my account to suspension of my electric service. My first month with Josco, my kilowatt usage charges were $ 15.33 and Josco's charges were $ 33.58 for a total of $48.99. That's a 46% markup. The following month's kilowatt usage was $24.41 and Josco added $65.86 for a total of $90.27 for an increase of 37%. The last month I had Josco I used 26.94, Josco added $ 73.40, 100.43. That's another 37% increase. After my complaint was heard by the utility commission, Josco sent me a check for $17.02. Do not use this company!
