Josef A. Silny & Associates Deceptive Company Practices About Fees Miami, Florida

Prior to hiring this company, I called and asked if they would provide an email copy of the report as well as a written copy, and they said they would.  When the report was complete, they asked for a $25 fee for an email copy.  Keep in mind, this is an email copy of a document that already exists.  When I told them that they had already told me I'd get an email copy they said that (a) they could not find the recording of my call because it had originated from Skype and (b) "if our associate told you that we can email the report he or she was correct, however, you did not inquire about the cost."  My responses would be that (a) I provided the exact date and time of the call, and it strikes me as highly disingenous that they can't find it without a phone number (especially since I told them it would probably either show as "unknown" or area code 661) and (b) I did not ask if the "can" email the report, I asked if they "would."  Of course, no one will actually know the exact wording of the call as long as they hide behind this ridiculous statement that date and time aren't enough to locate it.  If you go to a restaurant and ask "Can you give me a lobster tail with my steak?" you expect to be charged extra, but if you ask "Can you bring me an extra fork?" then if they have a $25 fee for an extra fork, they darn well should tell you.

The company's business model clearly is not build around providing a service for a fee, it is build around extorting customers for extra fees.
