Joseph Giannone HORROR STORY Folcroft Pennsylvania

Giannone sent a letter to my home advertising a 53 point gas furnance tune-up for $89.  My heater was working when the technician came, when he left the heater was in pieces on the basement floor.

The technician showed me pictures and stated that there was a breach in the exchanger, he then proceeded to show me a paper that stated it would cost either $2800 or $1400 to repair.  I have a warantee so I called my company,the professional that came to my home stated that he saw no breach and that the pictures did not seem to match the unit.  He stated that there must be a combusion test to prove that there was a beach, so that he could proceed with the claim.  He stated that the unit had to be put together to conduct the test.

My husband called Giannone, explained the situation and requested that he send someone out to put the heater back together, he refused.  It took me two weeks to get someone to put the system back together.  The professional that put it back together said he saw no breach.

Thinking that there was a breach that would put my family in danger I called my warrantee company, I had to pay a service call fee for the visit.  I called my homeowners insurance.  the warantee tech called the company that holds the lifetime warantee on the heater.  I received no tune-up and had to live in a cold house throughout the coldest days in Philadelphia this season.

Don't get me wrong I am happy to know that my family is not in danger but the anticipaiton and anxiety that I have been through this last two weeks have made me want to make sure that no one has to go through this again just for trying to maintainance there heating unit.
