  First, he offered to help me fix my mortgage and get a lower rate. He claimed to have spoken to the bank at least once a week and that the process can take a long time. He took my money on more than one occasion, in cash of course, to have my house appraised, to get the deed, etc. he eventually convinced me that it would be better if I gave my mortgage payment to him so he could pay it and keep track of it better. Several months later, I found out that none of my mortgage payments made it to the bank and they never spoke to him before. They even told me they had never received an incoming call from his phone number. He of course denies all of this. During this process, I also gave him money on several occasions to invest into various areas of the market. He assured me that my money was invested in my name through TD Ameritrade and would give me updates on how much I had made day to day. When I began to question this process and why I never signed anything or why he could never show me documentation, I began getting the excuses. He's very good at scamming people and making people feel like he's actually doing them favors when in reality, he's taking their money and placing bets on sports games in his own name or his wife's name. Over the course of just under 2 years, I gave him $19k. I almost lost my house and everything else I worked so hard for. He quickly builds trust and takes complete advantage of people. It sickens me that he continues to do this to people. He deals mostly in cash so there is no way to prove what you have given him. Please don't give him money!!!!!
