Joe Myers Ford selling salvage cars as demos Houston Texas

I was sold a Ford Escape as a demo. I was told this car was in perfect condition and would be in the price range that I needed. I bought the vechile at 3000 miles.

About 8 months after I purchased the vechile I tried to trade the car in at Carmax and they told me that there was seaver damege to the frame that had not been fixed. I was astonished.

After lots of investigation and having my insurance company investigating this issue, they found a clain on the vechile. COme to find out the vechile was totaled in Feb 05 and over 10,000 worth of damage. Joe Myers Fixed the vechile and got the payment from progessive.
Joe Myers denies the fact that their body shop fixed the car and denies that they knew about the damage when they got it in there hands.

I also found out that this car was previously owned. The car was totaled at 300 miles and sold to me at 3000 miles but the owner did not take the car back after the wreck happened.

I have been told by a number of body shops that the frame is not fixed correctley, that the frame was heated which is illegal, and that the parts that are suppose to be new are not they are factory parts.

The company refuses to do anything about it and they sold this vechile that is unsafe to me with a 1 year old knowing she was the reason why I trade in my truck at the time. The are liers and frauds. They sold this to me as a used demo when in fact it should have been a salveged vechile.
