Firstly, the salesman was 35 minutes late to our scheduled meeting. After bragging about how many cars JP Motors sells every week and how no-pressure their sales tactic is, he continued to boast about how they would fix the car up for me until it drove like new. Taking him on his word, I bought the car. After purchasing, the car had a repair around $500 within 5 days.
Considering that the sales staff told me repeatedly how thoroughly their service department goes over every vehicle, it's very troubling and disconcerting that they missed clearly worn and withered belts under the hood. They either missed the issue entirely, meaning they're not competent at their jobs, or they purposefully hid this information from me.
After getting the issue fixed by my trusted mechanic, JP Motors refused to reimburse me. It took a week of repeated communication attempts with various JP Motors staff before anyone would even discuss the issue with me.
What's more, the salesman that I dealt with confused my email address with a fellow JP Motors employee's and I was receiving internal communications for several weeks (even after I informed him that he had me confused with someone else).
They say that most of their business comes from repeat customers and referrals but I definitly won't be referring any of my friends or family here after my bad experience.
