JRK property holdings Lakota Pointe Townhomes Worst place ever... middletown Ohio

Well i move into the townhomes in 2008 and stayed until 2011. First off when i moved there i am  section 8 participant and when section 8 is invovled they do their own inspections of the property. The first rental manager that was there called me and said that my unit passed and come pay my deposit nd recieve my keys....that was a lie. The unit failed and because it failed section 8 did not pay for the first month me and my kids where there. The property manager was then hit up side the head with a rock by someone so ended up quitting the first week i was there. The new manager Susan filed an eviction for non payment of rent. Needles to say i had to pay almost 1000.00 so that i could keep my unit. Did i mention the first month being there that my ceiling caved in and leaked all over the carpet that i was told that was new and wasn't. After a week of walking on the carpet deep dark dirt stains appeard. They came and scooped out the ceiling and patched it up not checking for mold or anything. The bathroom floor was sinking in because the plumbing was horrible there.

Lets fast forward to the year we decided to move. I informed them that we were moving and they told me ok well if you change your mind to let them know. We looked for abou 3 weeks and decided that we would just stay another year. My husband and I went to the property manager and told her that we decided to stay and they informed us that they had just rented our unit the day before. I asked how can you do that and we are still in the unit and you are still getting paid. We moved out and turned our keys in. This past year my kids wanted to go back to their old school and so i said ok ill call and see if they have any units. When i called the other manager Candy said well you owe us 4000.00. I said for what she tells me for the carpet and holes in the walls. I said you have got to be kidding me why would i put wholes in the walls and that carpet has been that way for 3 years and i had it cleaned numerous of times. SHe then tells me well if you pay 4000.00 we would love to have you back you were such a great tenant. What a joke never will i go back there because they did to someone one else i know and they fought them and won. The management is a joke and they do not keep their property together and every unit there has had the ceiling leaking, the floor buckle, and ants oh and lets not forget your air goes out every summer and your heat goes out every winter. One year our heat went out and hey gave us a small heater and said that they couldnt fix it for 3 days and it was 20 degrees outside. They rigged it never completely fixed it and our heat went out everytime after.
