I read at least 20 reviews for Lowest Airfare Finder, INC. , I had the same experience, only for a lesser amount of $768. This guy sends bookings and you pay buy check tempted by the $100 down if paid by check offer.
This sucks! Everything smooth and slow...BUT now I can't get get my money back. No airfare, no money. Only dozen complaints with all federal agencies and legislative advisory committees. I paid on 04/16 for an airfare to europe, he cashed it on 04/19. I did a lot to get this person to court. It will very soon happen. As far as I know, dealing with him personally works the best.
