Written contract to move a boat from california to kelowna on jt hotshotting trailer and truck delivery was to be in 3 days from pickup.

3rd day harley did not know where his driver or the boat was.

4th day boat arrives in Richmond harley wants more money than what was agreed to if we did not pay his e-mail stated the boat goes back to california and we start paying storage daily till the bill is paid. He stated our boat caused damage to his trailer his driver upon pickup stated he had the wrong trailer to haul the boat. He admitted he put nickes in the hull of which I repared for 50.00.This is a 8000 lb boat on the initial order he was aware of the make, size and weight.

He refuses to deliver the boat to kelowna after we prepaid delivery to Kelowna but will take it back to california. We paid to have a trucking company on standby to get the boat he would not drop it into the water to transfer trailers so we had to pay for a boat lift. On his web-site he states if we do not deliver on time you don't pay maybe he thought we wouldn't pay him. The police can-not get involved if he does not want to relerase the merchandise ( boat) as it's a cival matter. We have e-mails from Harley Anfinson that are so outlandish it's almost entertaining our lawyer says he will be laughed out of court. Moving scams are common and the courts are awar of it.

A moving scam is a scam by a moving company in which company provides an estimate, loads the goods, then states a much higher price to deliver the goods, effectively holding the goods hostage

I have known Rodney for years!

AUTHOR: Peed Off - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Rodney was not in any position financially to purchase a boat as his company Dravco Mining Inc. is in financial trouble.

He talks like a big shot and acts like one, however his company has never done anything and is now defunct. He should focus on his business and not run others down.

Lozinski's tried to delay this shipment from day one!

AUTHOR: Peed Off - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, January 15, 2012

The Lozinski's tried everything possible to delay the delivery of the boat. 1st when the driver and his wife arrived at the marina to load, they were not around. Once they found the Lozinskis, they went to the boat ramp to load, however Rodney was doing circles out in the water nowhere near the ramp. Once he got the boat slammed on the trailer, he was in a big hurry to get the boat in for a service which he said would be free. The driver and his wife had to wait for that. he Lozinskis told the driver and his wife that since you are already down here, you should have a holiday and seen some of the attractions.

The Lozinskis told me that all paperwork was ready at the border for crossing and gave us the broker's name. When the boat arrived at the border, no paperwork was prepared which caused a 1 day delay. Ms. Lozinski told myself, "don't worry" when I told her we could charge for the Hotel room and standby time. I told her we wouldn't and she was very happy.

Once the boat was in Richmond, BC they asked when it would arrive. I told them I had to have a person come in to fix a couple of nicks that we had created on the boat. There was nno problem with this. 1 day later they completely reversed their earlier position and wanted the boat immediately. I told them we did not have a truck and driver available and the Lozinskis made arrangements to have the boat takken the llast leg of the trip by another boat hauler.

When I said we had to be paid, they agreed to pay for the damage to our trailer and for the hauling of the boat to Richmond, BC from California.

After we delivered the boat to a local marina and the boat was no longer in our possession, then the Lozinskis brought up the issue of being late and they didn't want to pay.

There was a calculated effort by the Lozinskis to delay the delivery as they thought all our shipments have a guaranteed delivery time and if late the customer does not pay. This is only true on Hot Shot deliveries that we do and we charge a premium for these which I clearly remember Rodney telling Harley he didn't want to pay the extra charges for this. Even if they had paid the extra, the delay of the boat was primarily caused by the Lozinskis not having the paperwork completed and ready at the border.

The Lozinski's Are on Drugs or Need Drugs Badly!

AUTHOR: Peed Off - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 14, 2012

Rodney & Gloria Lozinski did whatever was possible to delay the delivery of their boat. Harley put in writing all charges to them and Rodney agreed to those charges. There was never any mention of Hot Shot service as Rodney did not want to pay extra for that service. Rodney spent 15 or 20 minutes going around in circles before finally getting the boat close to the boat launch for loading. He was waved off from driving the boat onto the trailer as the driver saw he was having trouble controlling the boat. The driver wanted to load the boat by hand as Rodney was completely unable to pilot the boat. Rodney would not stop and drove the boat into the mast head of the trailer causing severe damage to the winch and bending the mast head.

The boat was 2500 - 3000lbs heavier than what they had placed on our order form as they did not take into account any fuel, water, accessories and other additions to the boat as they were using the survey weight which is dry weight with nothing added.

When the driver arrived at the border, the paperwork was not complete and was being done by a broker out of the area which took longer. I advised the driver to get a room for the night and I would get the Lozinski's to get the paperwork completed in the morning, which we did.

Due to the rough loading of the boat, there were a couple of small marks on the hull of the boat which we agreed to repair, however the Lozinski's wanted their boat delivered right away. Due to the boat and trailer arriving late to Richmond, we could not deliver right away as we had other jobs booked. The Lozinski's asked us if we could take the boat to Shelter Island Marine in Richmond as they had another company to take the boat to Kelowna. I sent another driver with the boat to Shelter Island Marina and they had made arrangements to have a lift, take the boat off our trailer and place it on another boat movers trailer. There is no launch at Shelter Island to wet launch and wet load a boat.

The Lozinski's are either on drugs or need drugs.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Rodney & Gloria Loizinsky are liars & trying to get something for nothing!!

AUTHOR: Peed Off - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 13, 2012

Rodney Lozinski rammed his boat into the boat trailer while loading causing $450.00 in damage which he had to pay for. Rodney asked my driver to help Gloria down from the boat, however he wouldn't as she was wearing a miniskirt and didn't want to look up at her.

Rodney & Gloria Lozinski told the driver that since he was down there he should go to Disneyland & Knott's Berry farm. They tried to delay him and his wife. Why has he not produced the "Written Contract" with anyone's signature guaranteeing 3 day delivery??

Due to the weight of the boat, 30% heavier, which scale showed when driver crossed the scales he had to travel much slower. The weight Lozinski's provided was the survey weight which is the dry weight of the boat when new. With water, fuel and added accessories, it is not uncommon for used boats to be 20% - 30% heavier than stated. This is spelled out in our terms and conditions that we charge for this. Trucking companies charge based on "Footprint, Volume & Weight". Ask any trucking company.

When driver arrived at the border, paperwork was not complete and had to spend an extra night in a Hotel in Blaine, WA. We did not charge them for the standby time or the hotel room as is a condition in the contract. It would not have mattered if they were there earlier as there was no way of entering Canada with the boat until paperwork was complete and taxes paid.

We offered to repair the nicks in the trailer, but they refused saying they wanted their boat immediately. I had nobody available to take the boat to Kelowna as we had other customers waiting due to the 1 day delay at the border who were now waiting. They made arrangements to have us deliver the boat to Shelter Island Marina where there is no wet launching available. Not once did they say they wanted us to launch it at Shelter Island Marina. We did this as soon as we could.

Driver never admitted he had wrong trailer as we have pictures of his boat on our trailer so it worked just fine.

We only charged to Richmond, BC as we charge per Kilometre and invoice shows the same.

Our guarantee on our website is only for Hot Shots and Rodney did not want to pay the extra 25% rate we charge for these. We have many Boat Brokers and dealers that use our service as well as many corporations. You can see all the testimonials on our website at http://jt-hotshotting.com/testimonials/

If the Lozinski's think we ripped them off, why don't they take this to an impartial party?

People like the Lozinski's were just trying to get out of paying and that is why the paperwork at the border wasn't ready.

Mr. Rodney Lozinski called myself and told me if I didn't give him $1,000.00, he would blackmail JT Hotshotting. I told him if he thought we did anything wrong, take us to court and let a 3rd party decide. He has not done this as he knows that they messed up badly and are just trying to get some money for no reason.

The below is the terms and conditions Rodney agreed to when he hired us to do this job. If the customer does not agree, we don't do the job.
