Judge Joe Brown Show is a SCAM Hollywood, California

The Judge Joe Brown show is a scam. He is not an actual judge, he is an entertainer. If you receive a call from their "producers" inviting you on the show, and are considering doing it, demand to review their "Arbitration Agreement", and the other forms they will make you sign, before making any decision.

The Agreement, in fine print, explains that this arrogant megalomanic non-judge does not have to follow, or render his decisions, based any law from any jurisdiction. He is not a judge, he's an "arbitrator".

I was invited to 'appear' on the show and didn't realize that it's not a bona fide Court of Law until I received their paperwork, coincidentally arriving late the night before I was supposed to travel to the show, after it was too late to pull out. I believe they send the paperwork at the very last possible moment on purpose so that people don't have the time read it and fully understand what they are getting themselves into. That way you are not aware that Joe Brown doesn't have to abide by any laws when rendering his "decision".

While I was there, every assistant producer who works at the show that I, and the rest of the large group of people waiting (we were all in one big room), came in contact with told every person appearing that the "Judge" loves to hear himself talk, will interrupt you constantly, goes off talking about nonsensical tangents, and has no interest in seeing that justice is served. It was very clear from all of his staff that he is only interested in being the s****.> Don't make the same horrible mistake that I did - make them send you the paperwork before you agree to go on the show, and if they actually send it to you (I'm betting they won't because they don't want you to know what a scam this is) read the paperwork carefully. I would also recommend that you make them send you in writing ahead of time, anything that they verbally promise to pay you - flights, hotels, appearance fees, gasoline, meals, etc. They start out verbally promising all kinds of things, then once you're down there, they claim they never made those promises, so you get screwed.
