Ridge was convicted by an all white Jury in the Trial on February 26-March 03,1997--During the Sentencing, Ridge was sentenced without a Jury, Upward Departure Sentence 380 Months (32 Years)--Sentencing in Violation of 6th Amendment-

Judge Pilshaw held a Secret Conference with a Juror,  Prosecutor, Defendants Attorney, Without the defendant right before deliberation- (Juror told her son) Third Party Communication) Conference was held without the defendants knowledge-Defendant Ridge Learned of this Unethical Violation while in Prison-Preparing for his appeal.

During this Conference, The Judge sought to retain the juror who feared she was being followed home, The Judge admitted to all in the secret conference-Pg 177-179 of Trial Transcipt--In her own word, She never heard of anything like that before, other than the Ocassional Parties she throws for Jurors after the trials outside the courts--

Pg 141-Voir Dire--Judge Pilshaw goes of the record to announce the Juror __________________was a "Two Time Winner in her Courtroom"---Juror A becomes the Foreman, despite his admission he was dismissed several times before, due to both of his sons in Law Enforcement-One for the Wichita Police Department, and the Prison where Ridge was sent to serve his sentence.
