I don't blame you for being upset with this company, they are scum bags, but something to consider. alot of collector read these posts (NO I'M NOT ONE)and others.
Putting your home phone number, wasn't such a good thing, nor listing your account numbers, address.
Anyone can now, write any type of letters to this company with your information. As well as calling you all hours of the day or night.
Someone can call you, saying there Afni, and tell you what you want to hear, and you thinking everything is fixed, only to discovery later that your credit took a hit.
communication fraud, is the most common type of fraud.
You should print out a copy of your post, in case some butthead, writes a letter, with your information, acting as you. and this letter open an criminal investigation, it might give you a defences and if its post marked in another area where you live.
I investigated crime for alot of years and the mistake you just made, can come back and bite you on the butt, because of someone else's action, thinking there being funny or to afraid to write there own letter and say what they really want too
You'll have some people telling you don't worry about it, nothing will happen, I've seen good folks, go in front of a judge because of a simple mistake or act of carelessness and some a$$hole, exploit the opportunity
