 JUDY lynn Shields, sent me an email stating that she had consulted with an attorney and she acknowledged responsibility for damages to me financially since I had to pay someone else expedited rush fees to clean up her mess! She asked me to send her the receipts, she asked for a payment plan, she asked that in exchange I update this complaint in her favor. I sent her the Pay-Pal recipits they showed how much I paid the other paralegal but I didn’t let her see their name cause I knew she would google them & call them so that I wouldn’t be able to use them in the future in the light of this incident! She wrote back that she had " googled” the services and couldn’t find them ( as I suspected she would do) and then she fell off the Map and didn’t return any more emails! Now I have to take her to small claims court, and spend time & energy to chase her down! The morale of the story is that: legal litigation is serious business and you should always use a professional person and or lawyer who believes in you and is NOT FLAKY, Irresponsible and So UNPROFESSIONAL! JUDY shields paralegal services is obviously just her typing up you’re forms, motions and replies at 1:00 A.M. then sleep till 1:00 PM the next day! You are at the Mercy of this unprofessional lady and her Moods and if and when she wakes up! Stay AWAY from her & give you’re lawsuits to a professional, reliable and responsible service! This is based on my opinions and experiences with using paralegal services of JUDY lynn shields!

 I’m struggling for the past 24-48 hours to rush to get done a very important appeal case that JUDY had promise to complete only to FLAKE out last minute at 5:30 A.M. saying she was too busy! Now others want to double charge for an expedited project because JUDY lied and pretended she would actually complete this project just to pull out less than 24 hours prior to it being due to comply with Court dead lines! She sleeps ALL day, wakes up at 1 P.M., meets with clients in late afternoon then brings working on the project late at night when everyone is sleeping so between 9 PM and 6 A.M. the next day you are at the Mercy of her mood! Don’t risk it! She is judgmental, unprofessional and very FLAKY! My multimillion dollar lawsuit and appeals deserve better than a lying FLAKY unprofessional woman who tells me that my best course of action is to go ahead and borrow money and pay the other side! Do Not hire this woman! You will be VERY sorry you did!

 JUDY shields knew all along that this was A motion for re-hearing in the Court of appeal! She further knew that there was a motion for striking the charlatan attorney’s fees that I had written to be filed to meet a 24-48 hour dead lines! She knew this since 2 weeks! She intentionally waited till 5:30 A.M. to email me to say they may she was busy with another client and my best course of action was to " consult with family and friends to pay the extortion monies I was asked for”! I’m in a middle of multimillion dollar lawsuit with a the worse charlatan and every single pleading paper that I file matters greatly! I have sued this charlatan and his wife for 5 Million dollars! There are restraining order issues damaging reputation of professional degrees! JUDY knew all this and she is judgmental and prejudice! I don’t recommend her! She is FLAKY, Unreliable and you can expect a nasty surprise when you’re legal motions and forms are due! Just look at this! She replied at 3 PM meaning she was sleeping all day when the courts open at 8 A.M. I rushed to file this paper work and I’m now stressed out and had to spend time & money last minute because of the negligence of this woman! It’s not only offensive but she greatly damaged my case by accepting to do the work then flaking out less than 24 hours when it’s due! Don’t use her unless you enjoy these types of sick games!

Yes, the person who wrote this review about me is my client.  Yes, I do work late, but I am not a vampire.  I misjudged the amount of time that I needed to work on another assignment for a different client, and thought I would be able to finish both of these assignments by the evening of June 26, 2018.  I then sent the client a status report at 9:10 PM indicating I would finish it by the morning.  When the client and I had spoken last week about this, she gave me the impression it was a simple form to get a rehearing.  It was only this morning that I learned this was an actual Petition for Rehearing that involved extensive legal research.  I told her she still had until June 28, 2018 to submit this, and suggested that perhaps the person who assisted her with the Opening Brief could help her.  When I first learned that she had lost the appeal, I told her in an email message on June 14, 2018 that she should consult with an attorney.  As for my prices, my rates are based on $40.00 to $60.00 per hour.  I have actually discounted my prices for this client, even further.  I have had this business for five years.  My clients know that I work hard, and sometimes it does take working all night to get the job done.  I am very sorry that I may have offended this person.  She did send me something for review, but it was in a format I could not open.  It was in the Apple Computer "Pages" program.  It is my fault that I should have said something to her earlier about this, since she sent it on June 25, 2018.
