Here Letter of my Lawyer, is that not incredible??

The undersigned and this law office have been retained by my clients in regards to the Apartment Lease and agreement they had with you. On or around july 20, 2006 my client and her friend took a tour of your facility with one of your leasing agent. My client asked him if the neighborhood and building was safe and he affirmed that it was. with this understanding, on july 21, 2006 my clients signed the Lease for 12 months and 11 daus begining on 7/21/06 and ending 7/31/07 for Apartment number 932.

However, according to the Atlanta Police Department Crime Gride Report (attached) my clients were gravely misinformed. At the property there were numerous assaults, drug charges, car thefts, and three armed robberies the same week that my clients signed the Lease. My clients arrive home late at night due to theyr work schedules, ranging from 10.30 p.m. to 2.00 pm., often with work equipment worth thousands of dollars and large sums of cash. The Darlington Apartments are simply not a safe place to live.

My client called your property after finding out about the three armed robberies in one week, and she was told by one of yours leasing agents that " what goes on here at night is not our business". I strongly disagree, the safety and well being of your residents should be of utmost concern. On July 31, 2006 seven days aftersigning the Lease, my client gave a letter to the manager axplaining their situation. The keys to the Apartment were given back to the employee Mrs. Trina on July 31, 2006.

My clients never moved in to the apartmentand notified the manager of their concerns seven days after signing the lease. Due to your misrepresentation about the level of safety and security offered at The Darlington Apartment, my clients are simply asking that you refund all of their money in the amount of $632.52.

If this is done we will not seek reimbursement for the additional expenses they have incurred.

If this letter is indeed from your lawyer, fire her NOW! The spelling and grammar is horrible. I would never believe this letter is from an educated person, and if it was given to me for proof of representation, I would laugh in your face.

I also don't believe it's the apartment employee's responsibility to inform possible tenants of what goes on in the complex. The person wanting to move is responsible to do that themselves.
