Juniper Bank - Barclays Bank Ripoff Tricky business practices. Finance charges over limit charges & bait and switch opening credit limits Wilmington Delaware

This company is one of the growing number that will allow finance charges to put the consumer over the limit whereby also accruing a over the limit fee. They also practice bait and switch practices with initial credit limits.

I've been in the credit industry for sometime now have had this account for roughly 4 months and it's been nothing but petty problems.

1. Credit limit opened at 1700.00 after first use of the card limit was dropped to 400.00 which put me over the limit instantly. I called to voice my concerns for such practices and the limit was increased to 500.00 (still useless for nothing other than petty cash).

2. Closing statement this month with finance charges included put the balance this month at $501.00 which = a $39.00 over the limit fee.

3. Attempted to obtain corporate headquarters address from customer support and things got sketchy real fast. Placed on hold a number of lengthy times only to be told by a rep (who was being coached audibly by a supervisor) "Just tell him we have no address."
