Juniper Master Card Juniper Card is Soliciting You Only to Defraud You Wilmington Delaware

I received a Juniper Bank Master Card solicitation for a 0% interest rate on balance transfers for 13 months. There was a transfer fee of under $100. This was a great deal based on the other offers available at the time. Between the fantastic deal and horror stories I had heard about small banks lying about payments in order to drastically increase interest rates and charge false late fees I was weary.

I called their customer support number and putzed around the web (not looking at Rip-off-report) and they seemed legitimate. I still had a funny feeling about them and decided to make my payment two weeks early just to be safe.

When my statement arrived sure enough I saw a late payment fee assessed!!! Unfortunately for these scammers they had processed my payment two weeks before the late payment fee was assessed and that also showed on my statement! After the late payment fee on my bill they showed that they had removed the fee (as there was simply no disputing the accepted payment weeks earlier).
Lesson learned:

It appears to me they have their systems set to automatically process payments the day after any due date (as it appeared on my bill) even thought they received payment two weeks earlier. This validates many of the other reports seen on this site.

My guess at what happens next: I bet my 0% interest rate is gone and on my next bill I will have to call them to fix that error, at which time they are going to make my dealing with them very difficult until I transfer my debt elsewherewhy would they want to service me when they can't defraud me.

It's time to put a stop to this lending fraud, who is going to take these criminals to task for praying on the indebted American Consumer!?

When I transfer my debt away from these criminals I will update my personal information.
